Aroha's Information Report- " Orchestra"

An Orchestra is a group of people that play different kinds of musical instruments. There are four musical families called strings, brass, percussion and woodwind. A conductor is a person with a stick and he waves, so people know that they are playing right.

One of the orchestra families is the string instruments. The string instruments are played by being plucked with a bow. My favourite string instrument is a double bass.

Another family of instruments is called percussion. They are played be being shaken or hit with your hand.

Another section is the woodwind. They are played by air being blown into the mouthpiece . They were originally made from wood.

Lastly there is the brass instruments. The brass family is made out of shiny metal.
