Solving Mathematical Word Problems
This year for maths there is a focus in solving Mathematical word problems. I’m trying to get the students to identify the most import facts and mathematical operation to solve each question.
We will be slowly working on these questions on Fridays. However you are welcome to solve the questions with your child and post the answers in the comments. Mr Thurlow

These powerpoints are an opportunity for your child and you to solve maths problems. Leave a comment on the blog about what question you have solved. Room 2 also looks at the powerpoint in class as a whole class and is a part of their maths programme. We focus on identifying the important facts and strategies in solving each question.
