Homemade Soaps this Afternoon.

Room 2 this afternoon attempted to make our first prototype soap. The soap recipe we tried had too much water. James has taken photographs with the ipad to show the steps in making our soap.

 Room two's Recipe Simple Soap

Materials needed:•   Large bowl
•   3 Cups of Soap Flakes (Lux Soap
•   1 to 1 1/2 cups water
•   Food coloring
•   Vegetable oil

Steps:1.  Mix the soap flakes with the water in a large bowl. Add the water slowly so that the mixture is the consistency of play dough.
2.  Add a few drops of food colouriing.
Coat hands with a small amount of vegetable oil and allow them to manipulate the mixture with their hands into fun shapes.
