This afternoon Room 2 were set the challenge of making one magnet float above another magnet. Only Yasmine was able to make a magnet float. She was the only one to master the force!!!
I have always loved magnets. I like floating magnets a lot. I also like making things appear to raise into the air. If you attach a paper clip to some thread and suspend a magnet above it the paper clip will float in the air. If you draw a little picture of a sheep (for example) and attach it to the paper clip, you get a flying sheep. How can you make a simple frame to hide the magnet and make a sheep fly? Ha,ha... I liked doing this! Looks like you've got a lovely class and you are of course World Champions.
I hope Yasmine shared the secret of her success with you all! So how did you make your magnet float? I love magnets, especially a construction game called GEOMAG - have you seen that?
