Magnet Cars

Today we built cars out of play-doh and classroom equipment. The cars had to be powered by two magnets. One of the magnets was like a steering wheel.


To use the magnets as a force to move our cars we had to ensure that the same poles were pointing at each other. We learnt that the same poles repel each other.

Most of the cars we made were too heavy for the magnets, yet some worked well.
