Dolphins

Dolphins are mammals that live in oceans all over the world.

Dolphins have perfect shape for swimming, their flippers are powerful for swimming. Dolphins have a hole on the top of their heads to help them breath on the surface of the water. Dolphins have layer of blubber to keep them warm.

Dolphins eat fish and squid. When dolphins are swimming they bounce noises to locate fish and squid. Dolphins can dive 500 metros.

Dolphins have one baby at a time. Their baby is called a calf. Baby Dolphins stay with their mothers for three to six years.

Dolphins are friendly, they work together in catching fish and playing food.
