Anzac Day

It is Anzac a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, the day honours members of the New Zealand and Austrailian Army Corps(ANZAC). Initially the day commemorates both corps endeavors at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War 1. The first memorial was held 96 years ago. Now Anzac day is more broadly commemorates all those who died and served in military operations for their countries.

Over the past several years there has been a resurgence in attendance at Anzac services across New Zealand.
