History of the Rugby Ball.

The Kea reading group with given an article about the history of the rugby ball. They had to identify the main ideas and present these ideas back in a movie. The idea in the way they presented the content and the content in the movie is the students, my part was to only film the final cut and help with the editing of the movie. I think they have done a brilliant job!!!!

How Meteors Are Formed

Meteors begin in small chunks of rock and dust,they are called Meteoroids.These fragments are sometimes found in the long tail of a comet.As the comet goes by the Sun,the warmth from the Sun melts the comet.Chunks of rock shatter and they are left in space.These rocks are called Meteoroids.

These left over chunks of rocks float in space.As the Earth spins around the Sun,it passes through paths of Meteoroids.Some of the Meteoroids are pulled towards Earth because of Earth's gravity.As the Meteoroids enter Earths atmosphere they are called ''Meteors''.As meteors begin to pass through Earth's atmosphere they became hot and glow. Some meteors can be mistaken for the shooting stars. Shooting Stars are actually Meteors.

Evie's Broken arm

Last Tuesday I broke my arm climbing on the slide at school. It hurts so much. First I had to go to the sick bay at school. Next, I went to the Doctor with my mum. The doctor said in a french accent, "you have to go to the bone shop". At the bone shop they took a x-rays of my arm."It was broken they said, "they said I had to go to the bone shop in the hospital".

At that bone shop they took more x-rays of my arm with my cast on. On the way home my mum got McDonalds for us .When we got home my brother was in bed.

Evie's long Drop.

Hi, my name is Evie.

I am going to show you my design of a long drop. In my long drop I have a towel and on my towel is a capital "E", so no one else can use it. Outside my long-drop is a red light that can see in the dark. Inside my long- drop there is a potty for my brother. To wash my hands there is a bucket of water and soap for my hands.

On the seat is a "E" that massages me when I sit down.
