Santa's problem

Once upon a time there lived a jolly old man his name was Santa. He loved delivering presents to the world. One day Rudolph's nose stopped glowing it was a disaster!!! Now Santa could not see. Santa wonder how to mend Rudolph's nose. Then he just remembered that he had red dye and the dye glowed. Santa put the dye on Rudolph's nose and they were ready to go and deliver present.

Lonely Prince

One day a lonely prince was sitting by a pond when a frog popped out of the water.

The frog asked the prince to kiss her.

"Smooch" they kissed.

The prince turned into a frog. The frog turned into a human.

The prince cried ,the tears from the prince made the river get bigger and bigger until he stopped. The prince was wiping his tears when he saw a wonderful girl who was swimming in the flooded river. They got married.

Suddenly prince turned back into a human.

The Three most Notorious Pirates have hidden the treasure on Treasure Island.

1. Start at Wicked Wharf.
2. Travel Northeast until you get to the sea.
3. Take a turn East and stop at the first intersection of paths.
4. Walk South down the path to Cannibal Caves.
5. Go Southwest until you get to the start of the Forever Forest.
6. Take the path East and find a bridge.
7. Then head in a North direction to High Hills.
8. In the middle of the High Hills is the Treasure.

History of the Rugby Ball.

The Kea reading group with given an article about the history of the rugby ball. They had to identify the main ideas and present these ideas back in a movie. The idea in the way they presented the content and the content in the movie is the students, my part was to only film the final cut and help with the editing of the movie. I think they have done a brilliant job!!!!

Explanation -How Are Meteors Made?

Meteors begin as little chunks of rock and dust they are called Meteroids. These fragments of dust and rock are mostly located in a tail of a comet. When a comet zooms by the sun, the heat from the sun begins to melt the comet. Pieces of rocks breaks down and depart from the comet. These left over portions of rocks float in space, as the comet speeds on.

As Earth orbits the sun, Earth journeys by many meteoroids. Most of meteoroids are pulled closer to Earth because of the Earth's gravity. As meteoroids begin to travel through the Earth's atmosphere they become very, very hot. They are so hot they burn up and glow. Meteors are mostly mistaken for a shooting stars. However shooting stars are meteoroids that hit Earth's Atmosphere and burn up and glow.

SPORTS DAY!!!

Yesterday we went to Lincoln university. ALL Year 4 and 3 went from Burnham School. There were about 400 kids at the event. Next we picked a letter in the alphabet so the children could be grouped .Kayla,Sophie,Chloe,Lilly and I were on the L. I choose to be in the L because my last name is Larkin. Kayla's favourite activity was Moon ball. Sophie and I had the same favourite activity it was Dodge ball.At lunch there was a sausage sizzle and some other food. There was also some Karate display going on at lunch. We made some new friends some and others kids were so friendly. We met new people and had fun and I really want to go back.
