This morning Letti came into room 2 . She taught us about Tongan and showed us her treasures.The tapa mat was a decorations and you could sit on it when there were important advents.Letti said Tonga is a small contry.Tonga has heaps of coconuts.Letti brought her wedding dresses in.I thought the shells was light and small.Letti said everyone had black and brown hair.The ladies dress in dresses and skirts to go to church.The men wore a long belt, made out of coconut husks.Letti said they only had square houses with cold water for their showers.
Room 2, you were so lucky to have Letti come and visit! I have some Tongan students in the classroom and I will show them these pictures tomorrow they will love them!
