Room 2 's toy garage sale

Today room2 had a toy garage sale to make a donation for cure kids. We raised $156.70c in cash, most of the junior school ran to the garage sale. There was a huge crowd around our class room. There were toys everywhere from $1 to $5. It was like a christmas in the park fair around room2. Some people didn't have enough money to buy toys. Room2 had awesome garage set up. When people had to clean up. We sold all our toys in the end.

Going to AMI

Tonight at 7.00pm I am going to AMI stadium where the final between Canterbury and Waikato is happening. I am going to be in the tunnel with all the players. I am going to run with the Canterbury team. If Canterbury wins I give them their medals. If Waikato I will have give them the winners medals. At the end I might be given a game ball to keep.

Tried something different with the class in writing a recount. We watched a youtube clip about white water rafting.Then we brainstorm different parts of the clip in how we felt, saw and heard.The idea is that the students are writing if they are in the clip rafting down a West Coast river.

We have only starting our writing. This movie demonstrates what Kalani has started for his introduction of his recount.
