 Rainy Day

This morning it was raining. Mr Thurlow  told us to put on our puffer jackets because we were going for a walk around the block. I was very cold when we lined up outside.

Next, we went to Reilly’s house where there was a gigantic paddle shaped like a lake. I wanted to jump in it. When we got on the wet grass, the grass was squeaking like a mouse.

I felt like an iceberg when we got back!

Postcard From Antarctica

Dear Mum and Dad,


I am at Antarctica for a holiday, so I can have some peace and quiet because my sister always annoys me. Can you help me I am stuck on an enormous iceberg? Also I am getting sick of eating raw penguins. I have stopped eating raw penguins and I am starving. I tried floating to the shore. On my way back to the shore I saw a colossal squid and an Orca. When I was on shore I saw Emperor penguins, they were laying eggs. Then I went to Scott Base. I miss you all and I will be home soon.
