Mr Thurlow asked us to complete an activity in our school journal. Each step, we had to take photo's to show how we did it.
You will need a needle, leaf, magnet and a big bowl of water.
What happen:
Step 1- Stroke the end of the needle along the magnet. Keep pulling the needle back and forth for a least a minute.
Step 2- Float the leaf into the bowl
Step 3- Then place the needle on the leaf.
The needle started pointed to the north, we checked this with another compass.
