Today Mr Fleck( parent) spoke to Room 2 about his job , which takes him to the other side of the world ( Canada ). The students heard about the risks in oil exploration and why there are oil fields. In particular Mr Fleck focus is in safety of the employees and the environment while they out at sea .
We saw photographs of polar bears, walrus and a Bow whale. I personally like to thank Andrew for taking his time to arrange a powerpoint and talk to my students.
For the students it is great that they get exposed to other experiences outside the school environment and make connections to their own environment.
